As a youngster I was arty, musical and sporty! Until 2020-2021, art had taken a back seat to sport and building a career. After multiple injuries over the years and the COVID-19 lockdown, my creative juices started flowing once again to provide that much needed relaxing timeout from being stuck in the house.I often paint at weekends to relax, many times staring for long intervals at the canvas while sitting on my sofa in my studio (also known as my home office!), conjuring images in my minds eye of what the resulting artwork will look like.As a teenager, my 'thing' was big art, once decorating a tumble dryer in the style of Picasso for my GCSE exam. Rediscovering this boldness, I now use acrylic paint, usually in vibrant colours, to create pieces that are centred around a dominant feeling at the time. This has created some interesting designs that have evolved through translating that emotion onto the canvas.I hope you like my creations, but please feel free to contact me to discuss a commission or ask any questions.
